My Experience
My journey with photography started in a simple, meaningful way, capturing moments for my church and taking photos in my everyday life, just because I loved it. Over time, what started as something casual quickly became something I felt deeply connected to.
One of the biggest turning points for me was photographing an elopement for a coworker. There was something about the emotion, the intimacy, and the meaning behind those moments that completely shifted the way I saw photography.
I fell in love with not just taking photos but telling stories.
Another part of that perspective came from being on the other side of the camera myself. Having my own engagement and wedding documented by my dear friend and photographer, Victoria Nguyen, gave me a deeper understanding of how meaningful these moments truly are, not just to capture, but to experience.
It’s something I carry into every session, knowing how it feels to trust someone with moments you’ll hold onto forever. From there, I decided to pursue photography more intentionally and officially started my business in December of 2025. Since then, I’ve photographed a range of sessions from seniors and families to couples, engagements, and elopements, as well as second shooting a wedding.
Each experience has shaped the way I approach photography today. Focusing on connection, emotion, and the moments that feel the most real. I’m still growing, still learning, and still falling more in love with this with every session and I am so grateful to document these moments for the people who trust me with them.
